STEPS TO REFERRING YOUR CLIENTS

STEP 1: Contact Beatriz Mendoza 

Beatriz Mendoza will be the primary point of contact for all incoming referrals to the firm.

STEP 2: Initial Client Consultation is Scheduled

Beatriz will conduct the initial client consultation, answer questions regarding the process, and handle all preliminary inquiries. 

STEP 3: Online Questionnaire will be sent to the client

Once the client submits the Online Questionnaire, Beatriz will call the client to set up the one-hour Attorney-led appointment to review the Trust details. 

If your client prefers, they may go into the office for assistance in filling out the Questionnaire. 

STEP 3: Attorney-led Appointment

A direct, in-person or virtual meeting with the Attorney to walk through the details of the Trust design with the client(s) and finalize the Trust documents. 

Time frame: Approx 1.5 hours for a single trust or 2 hours for a joint trust,  as it takes longer for a couple.

STEP 4: Signing and Notarization of the Documents

The final stage of the process involves the formal signing of your documents in the presence of a notary public. For your convenience, this may be completed either in person or via Zoom. A member of our legal team or staff will be present in person or via Zoom during the appointment to provide guidance and ensure all documents are executed correctly. For remote notarizations, the firm's notaries will scan the documents and forward the documents to the firm. The client keeps the original documents.

ESTATE PLANNING FEE OVERVIEW

For General Reference Only and for Internal use Only – Do Not Quote to Clients

• Single Trust Package:   Typically starts at $1,299, with optional notary and county recording fees.

• Couple Trust Package:   Typically starts at $1,599, with optional notary and county recording fees.

• Complex or Custom Planning:   If the attorney determines additional legal design or customization is required, fees may increase by approximately $300-$500, depending on complexity.

 Final pricing and plan type are determined by the attorney after consultation.

MARKETING FEE STRUCTURE

YOUR ROLE AS THE WSB MEMBER aka the "Marketing & Client Acquisition Partner": 

Marketing and Client Acquisition Partners provide advertising and client introduction services only. 

• Do not provide legal advice

• Do not determine estate plan types

• Do not quote or negotiate legal fees

• Do not influence legal recommendations

All legal services, plan determinations, and fees are determined solely by the attorney after consultation.

These marketing fees are paid for client introduction and advertising services only and are not contingent upon whether the client retains the firm, the type of legal services provided, the legal fees charged, or the outcome of any legal matter. No portion of legal fees is shared with non-attorneys.

Marketing and Client Acquisition Partners are compensated with a flat marketing fee for advertising and client introduction services, as follows:

• $300 for a Single-client introduction

• $400 for a Married-couple client introduction

COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE

Marketing & Client Acquisition Partners are compensated solely for marketing and client introduction services. 

Compensation:

• Is a flat MARKETING FEE,  NOT a referral fee

• Is not contingent upon legal services rendered

• Is not tied to legal fees charged or outcomes

• Does not involve fee-sharing with non-attorneys
